Scientific Studies and a Brighter Future

It is important that we perform more clinical studies, for the following reasons:

  • Positive results will give us greater opportunities to help children with the AIDS virus.
  • Most governments require replicated results before embracing a new treatment regimen for the AIDS virus.
  • As we find regimens that are more and more effective, we will need a lot of evidence to convince organizations using established drug regimens that we have a viable alternative.
  • Our long-term goal is to actually change the world for Christ, as we offer new life to those with an AIDS death sentence. These clinical studies will be needed to do this.

Ghana

We have close friends in Ghana, West Africa who are working to get permission for a clinical study there. One of them has been involved in 3 AIDS projects already, and is in a strategic governmental position to help us with an AIDS study. A second friend is a national pastor there who has been working for 2 years to attain governmental approval for such a study.

Presently the study is targeting 50 children. One of our goals is to demonstrate to the Ghanaian government the effectiveness of our treatment, believing this will open greater doors for us to help children in Ghana.

Aid the Children’s President hopes to meet with government officials during his Africa trip in January, 2012. Please pray for final approval to be given so we can initiate this study.

South Africa

The first test of our AIDS treatment in South Africa resulted in this response: "I can share with you... the amazing results of the 2 children who completed the trial. When I phoned the Sister in charge she informed me that the CD 4 count of both children improved by a whopping 40%!! Praise God from whom all blessing flow. A 40% improvement in the CD4 count is nothing short of a miracle."

Currently we have two other non-profit ministries in South Africa who are doing small studies with our treatment. Aid the Children's President plans to travel to South Africa in January of 2012. The two small studies should be finished by then, and our President will carry with him the results from the placebo controlled study in Kenya. He hopes to meet with government officials and ministry partners to prepare the way for a large placebo controlled study in South Africa. Once again, we appreciate your prayers that God will open great doors before us.
